Travis serves as Outside Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel to mShift, advising the company on corporate governance, commercial contracting, transactional matters, and operational strategy.

He brings more than twenty years from leadership roles at some of the largest law firms in the world. He was a partner at Dentons, at DLA Piper, and at Ballard Spahr, building a practice across general corporate counseling, complex transactional matters, private equity, venture financings, corporate governance, securities offerings, and M&A. He has advised companies, family offices, and investment funds through their most consequential transactions.

In 2026 he founded Aureum to deliver outside general counsel and advisory services — an approach built on acting as a strategic business partner to a company rather than as an outside vendor of legal hours. He serves in this capacity for a select group of clients, mShift among them.
